this week, we’re celebrating a whole decade of creativity, connection, and community. when we opened our doors ten years ago, we dreamed of creating a space where our customers could learn about art and design, get creative, and share meaningful moments with the people they love.

we’ve literally seen our students grow up and families grow bigger. we’ve shared big moments — hundreds of birthdays, a few wedding proposals, celebrated our favorite pop culture moments. we’ve cheered our staff and customers on as they graduated, held deep sympathy over losses, and even partied at a few MADE weddings and welcomed a MADE baby. 💍🍼

✨ pro tip: babies under 1 do best with footprints. and if they’re trying to eat the paintbrush, parents can help them paint with their hands instead! pottery glaze is non-toxic and washes out of clothes.

🎨 a little art therapy in vienna… many of you know that last week i headed to europe to see taylor swift in vienna. if you haven’t heard, the shows were cancelled due to a thwarted terrorist attack. being so close to NYC and having watched the twin towers burn from my high school science room windows on long island, i was feeling both devastated and (still am) absolutely shook that i could have been in an awful situation tonight. i completely randomly booked a hotel across the street from @paintyourstyle_wien2 and stopped in this afternoon to paint something because all i want to do is be safe back at home. so grateful to have been able to visit this cozy studio so far away to help calm my nerves. be good to one another out there. 💜 - jamie
